Important Information About Medication Requests:
Medication requests are reviewed by a veterinarian before being approved.
We can only provide prescription medication for pets that have been recently assessed for which ongoing treatment has already been established. In some cases, a consultation or further testing may be required before medication can be supplied.
The delivery service is available only to residents of Sydney’s inner city, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and the Lower North Shore suburbs.
Not all requests can be fulfilled. We will contact you if additional information or an appointment is needed.

Can I order repeat pet medication online if my pet is already a patient?
Yes. Existing VETaround patients can request repeat prescriptions and medication delivery through the online prescription request form.
Once the request is reviewed, medication can either be delivered to your home or arranged for collection where appropriate.
Can pet medication be delivered to my home?
Yes, medication delivery is available across VETaround’s service areas, including Marrickville Council, Waverley Council, Leichhardt Council, Botany Bay Council, Randwick Council, City of Sydney Council, Woollahra Council, and the Lower North Shore.
This is particularly helpful for ongoing treatment, elderly pets, or situations where travelling to collect medication is difficult.
Do I need a consultation before requesting a repeat prescription for my pet?
Not necessarily. If your pet has been seen recently and their condition has remained stable, a repeat prescription can often be approved without another consultation.
However, some medications require ongoing monitoring or a more recent examination before they can be prescribed again. If your pet needs reassessment, the VETaround team will contact you to arrange the next step.
Can I collect my pet’s medication instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Medication collection can also be arranged from VET HQ in Zetland, where appropriate.
Some owners prefer collection for time-sensitive medication or when they are already nearby.
What types of pet medication can be requested online?
Existing patients can request many ongoing medications via the prescription request form, including long-term treatments and repeat prescriptions already prescribed by the VETaround team.
Approval depends on your pet’s condition, medication type, and how recently they have been examined.
