VETaround Sydney Mobile Vet Service is looking for a veterinary associate position to start immediately if possible, but starting date negotiable.
Our mobile vet service delivers a more convenient service, decreased stress veterinary consultations and a more personal experience for our clients.
We provide a no-compromise veterinary consultation in people’s homes and also provide comprehensive veterinary health care at the base hospital.
We provide the same level of service you would expect from any veterinary hospital, including home veterinary consultations in our fully stocked vans to our existing large client base and new clients, as well as hospital and surgical duties at our base hospital, with which we have a strong association.
VETaround Sydney Mobile Vet Service currently services the Eastern and Inner west Suburbs but we’re looking to expand our service both locally and to a wider geographic area.
We enjoy a great clientele who are generally very willing to pursue diagnostics and health recommendations.
You have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, are strongly client focused and you pride yourself on the provision of top quality patient care and client communication.
You’re honest, trustworthy and accountable with the ability to work independently, as no nursing assistance is currently available on the road.
However, you will enjoy full vet and nursing colleague support at our base hospital and we do have the intention of adding a veterinary nurse to our team as soon as possible.
You also have the ability to work to a high standard of veterinary medicine. Any extra skills you can bring to the service would be highly valued, such as ultrasound skills, surgical interest etc.
You have a current NSW drivers licence. A knowledge of Sydney suburbs and streets would also be advantageous, but GPS navigation is provided.
If you’re passionate about providing top quality client care and client communication…we’d love to hear from you.
Hours would be on a flexible roster system either casual/permanent part time or full time, and all is negotiable. Duties would be rotated on a shared basis with the current vet between the hospital and on the road.
Both starting date and remuneration are negotiable and the final package will be determined together with the successful candidate.
